About the event
You can bring magnificent colors and textures that go beyond dreams to your home and table.
In our workshop, you will learn about this fun, fascinating and beyond borders cooking. This work, in which we will cover a wide range of techniques from reinforcing lining (Terra sigillata) to creating texture and color with plants, is a unique opportunity that you will not always get.
The workshop duration is three hours. During this time, the preparation of the products for firing will be shown.
After the workshop, the firing process will begin. Participation in this is optional.
You can bring your own biscuit products. If you want, you can work with the products we have.
The number of participants in our workshops is limited.
Participation will be based on reservation.
Feride Ceyda Erdemli
He is the founder of Qi Ceramic Workshop. For the last five years, their production has been concentrated within the framework of smoked firing and alternative firing techniques. In addition to the ceramic productions of the workshop, he also works on local pottery traditions and regional clays. It organizes events on lost or on the verge of disappearing traditions and the archaeological history of the region. Together with Beyza Yavuz, they focused on the ceramic tradition in Dont Plateau as of 2021.
