About the event
When it comes to traditional pottery of the Fethiye region, the first thing that comes to mind is Dont Pottery. These products, which have been made by women in Dont Plateau for centuries, are cooked on an open fire. If you would like to accompany a fun visual feast, we will be with you on May 7th.

He is the founder of Qi Ceramic Workshop . Within the framework of smoked firing and alternative firing techniques, the workshop also works on local pottery traditions and regional clays, as well as ceramic productions. It organizes events on lost or on the verge of disappearing traditions and the archaeological history of the region. Together with Beyza Yavuz, they focused on the ceramic tradition in Dont Plateau as of 2021. They were taken from Özen Çavdar, one of the last practitioners of this tradition, in Dont Plateau. They will continue to work with him this summer.
